"Third
time is the charm!" says Nancy Henry, owner of Henry
Homes 'n more, inc. This is
the third real estate company that Nancy Henry has had ownership in during her
24-Year career in Siouxland.
According to Henry, her new firm markets "more" than just homes.
It also markets acreages, building lots, new construction, farms and commercial,
multi-family units, and offers relocation coordination both incoming and
outgoing.
Working in her family-owned grocery store in Minnesota taught Henry how to deal
with people and salesmanship. Her parents taught her how important
"enthusiasm" is for what you are doing. After receiving her
bachelor's degree, Henry taught school at the middle school level, which was
good preparation for working with buyers, sellers and agents.
Henry is consistently a multi-million dollar producer in listings and
sales. She was the first recipient of the "Realtor of The Year"
award in the new millennium. In 1987-1988 she was honored with the
"Outstanding Service Award" given annually by the Great Sioux City
Board of Realtors for service to the board, community and clients.
Henry's trademark has been to give "Thank You" notes with an "Oh
Henry" candy bar!
She is currently a member of the board of Directors and Finance Committee for
the Greater Sioux City Board of Realtors. She also is a Siouxland Chamber
of Commerce Ambassador, the coordinator of host and hostess for the Red Cross
Tour of Homes of the past 10 years, and former president of Junior Women's Club.
